Default invalid file error sometimes using uPNP connection

    hi,

i get the 'invalid file' error on random movies using a uPNP connection. the same movies play fine when i run them off a USB or the direct to PC connection. how do i solve this issue so the uPNP connection can play these movies without any trouble?

    thanks

Are there any encoding done by your UPNP server? If so disable encoding and see if that fix your problem.

    Cheers!!

I had a look through the documentation and the settings on my uPNP server and there weren't any encoding options listed. I'm using a DLink DNS-325. Anything else come to mind?

Does this movie plays using samba from your NAS??? Samba would be a better option in my opinion to share files unless you have other equipment beside the PBO that you stream to that requires upnp. If only streaming to PBO I recommend using samba server from your NAS versus upnp.

    Snappy.
