Default Gigabyte MB freezing with 32GB of PV316G186C0K installed

For my initial build on my GA-Z87X-UD4H I installed a 16GB set of PV316G186C0K and everything was great. Several months ago I installed another brand new set of 16GB PV316G186C0K sticks and at first the system recognized the capacity and correct speed but over time the system has started occasional freezes and crashes.

In researching this problem it appears the Z87 boards have problems with all RAM 4 slots filled and some have experienced better performance by turning off XMP and manually boosting voltage from 1.5V to 1.55V or higher. Additional fixes have included timing changes and even Northbridge voltage increases.

Since the sticks performed flawlessly at first I wonder if its a hardware failure and if the best solution is to RMA the memory.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
