    Hello.
    I bought this recently memory, but I am in doubt on the question of latency of this memory.
    In the description of the product this way:

    Specifications:
    - Capacity: 16GB (2 x 8GB) Kit
    - DIMM Type: 240-Pin NON-ECC UDIMM
    - Voltage: 1.5V
    - Frequency Tested: PC3-17000 (2133MHz)
    - Time tested: 11-11-11-30
    - Base Frequency: PC3-12800 (1600MHz)
    - Time Base: 9-9-9-24
    - Tested platforms: Intel 6:07 series
    - Feature Overclock: XMP 1.3

    I bought this thinking that the latency 9-9-9-24 memory is but the label came 11-11-11-30.
    What is the real latency of this memory ??

    What is the basis 9-9-9-24 times?
    It would be the least that this memory can work?
    I can work with this memory with 9-9-9-24 latency?

    Anyone can take this question, please.

    Dear Richard,

    Base frequency and latency is the reserved base programmed spd in the modules. This is the speed and latency that your computer will boot up at. In order to take advantage of the performance speeds, you would need to enable top performance Profiles in the BIOS. 9-9-9-24 may not work at 2133. You should see a benefit of going from 1600 to 2133.
