Default How to identify firmware version on the PBO Alpine

    Hi, Ben.

I just bought an Alpine and I'm trying to learn as much as possible about it.
I've searched the threads here and can't find any info on displaying the box's current firmware.
The "About" app version information doesn't relate to any firmware version mentioned here.
How can I tell the current firmware version?

One other question. Does the firmware update file still have to be on a FAT32 drive?

Thanks and I hope I posted this in the right place.

    Joel

after upgrading to MB86M10.MpFirmware.2012-05-30.fw , I think the kernel version changed to 2.6.32-9-default rockshi@mb86m1x #57

I have another unit to upgrade so will check the kernel version before doing the upgrade.

here is original kernel info, I do not know fw version:
    2.6.32-9-default vivianli@mb86m1x#41
