Default Patriot Xporter XT Boost 4GB

After using this drive for about a year I've been experiencing some data corruption with it, especially where there are constant read/writes involved.

I've tried reformatting and checking the drive in Vista and Linux, but neither really seem to give any indication the device is failing, however I'm still a bit skeptical of the results, so I would like to try a low level format.

    Default Xporter xt 32gb

I have a problem with my XPorter XT 32gb. When I put it on the computer, it is recognized as a drive, but when I click on it, I just get a message that says "Please insert a disk into drive N". I get this on more than one machine. It also will not allow me to format it. If the low level format will help please send it to

    Hi atolf19,

Did you yourself change it to read-only or did the drive do it by itself?
